The conflict between Israel and Palestine can be viewed from different perspectives and paradigms. In this symposium, we will look at two of these perspectives. One will deal with the economic consequences of the occupation on the economy of Israel. Is it possible for Israel to continue this occupation, as the costs keep rising? The second perspective looks at the conflict from a socio-cultural angle. To what extent is the conflict determined by prejudgements and stereotypes on both sides? How can communication between Israel and Palestine be achieved?
The symposium is a co-production of FEB, SV Menara, NGIZ and StudiumGenerale
It is sponsored by Selexyz Gianotten.
